Retaining Wall Docs

Walls, quoted.

Struction takes you from a set of construction drawings to a priced, shareable retaining wall quote — over 20 times faster than existing methods. This guide walks the whole path, and you don’t need to know anything about software to follow along.

Quickstart: your first quote

Every retaining wall quote in Struction follows the same four steps. Most people are through their first one in a single sitting.

  1. Set up your account. Get your pricing and estimation charts right first — they drive every design and every number in the quote.
  2. Create a project. Upload your drawing set. Struction processes it and flags which pages have retaining wall details on them.
  3. Take off each wall. Set the scale, then trace the wall in plan view or elevation view — or let AI take the envelope off for you.
  4. Design and price it. Quote Builder places units inside your envelope. Adjust soil properties, loading conditions, and line items until the wall is right.
  5. Publish and share. Publishing generates the customer-facing quote and an interactive 3D model you can send as a link.
